Taking a light hearted approach, Lilac Media produced a family of commercials featuring 'larger than life' characters to make the campaign memorable.

The three commercials were shot on location over 2 days at Arley Hall in Cheshire.

They were first aired on UK commercial TV in August 2015 and are also being shown on Video-On-Demand services. The commercials are also available on-line via the products dedicated Maalox website.

Lilac Media was commissioned to produce two 20 second commercials. The commercials have a quirky comic appeal and were given a retro 50's feel involving a stylised studio shoot. The "Husband" version is aimed at couples.

The commercial was first aired in July 2015 across the UK broadcast network and on Video-On-Demand services. The commercials are also available online via the products dedicated Dioralyte website.

Executives Films

Bureau Veritas required a series of films to introduce key executives to new recruits and current staff.

Shot on location using 3 camera's with prime lenses the films were stylised to give a polished but friendly feel.

Various Bureau Veritas Executives were filmed delivering a piece to camera discussing their role, responsibilities and outlook for the company for use in internal induction and presentations. The films were punctuated with floating graphic text to empathise key points of each executives presentation.

Investing for Innovation

NHS Oldham CCG

NHS Oldham CCG required a film to promote investment in primary care for use at conferences, presentations and on-line.

Investing for Innovation features interviews with various Oldham GP's, Clinical Directors and Governing Body Members discussing primary care investment, current GP practice challenges and the additional resources GP practices will invest in.

Bureau Veritas Ident

Lilac Media was commissioned to produce a family of graphic Idents for Bureau Veritas for use in internal communications, presentations and external promotions.

The Bureau Veritas Ident is part of that family and features a graphic build with key phrases resolving through to the Bureau Veritas logo. All the graphic idents are underscored with a commissioned music piece.

Syndol Commercial

Lilac Media has produced a family of commercials for Syndol, the Sanofi Aventis headache relief tablet.

The commercial is targeted for use on several platforms with various versions being produced. A 45 second version was initially produced for use on the internet with more conventional 30 and 20 second cut-down versions generated for commercial TV.

The commercial is currently being shown on Video-On-Demand services and via the products dedicated Syndol website.

Warm Homes Oldham

Oldham Council

Oldham Council, in conjunction with NHS Oldham CCG and Keepmoat, commissioned a promotional video for the Warm Homes Oldham scheme.

The scheme provides funding for the upgrading of central heating and insulation of homes as well as providing advice to residents, helping them stay warm during the winter and reduce fuel bills.

As well as interviewing a broad spectrum of Oldham residents who have benefitted from the scheme the film also features an interview with a doctor citing the positive health benefits.

Breast Milk It's Amazing!

Tameside MB Council

As part of National Breastfeeding week Tameside Health and Wellbeing Board in conjunction with other partners including Tameside Hospital joined forces to promote the benefits of breastfeeding and give advice about the support available.

The 'Breast Milk It's Amazing!' film was commissioned as part of the campaign launch. Lilac Media filmed various local mums describing their personal experiences and why they believe breast is best. The film also features interviews with staff from local support groups.

Vanquish Roller

Harris commissioned Lilac Media to produce a series of five commercials illustrating their range of products to target product buyers.

Featuring a female presenter, the Harris Vanquish Roller Buyers commercial was shot on location with additional product demonstration footage shot in a studio set-up in the Harris 'Lab'.

Other products filmed include the Harris Comfort Gel, Easyclean, Icon and No Loss brushes.

How to Decorate

Lilac Media was commissioned by Harris to produce a family of 'How to Decorate' film guides. Featuring the complete range of Harris products, two versions of the films were made; one for the Harris website and YouTube channel, the second for a B&Q version featuring Harris products exclusive to B&Q stores.

The films covered the complete range of decorating topics, from preparation, painting walls and windows, painting with rollers through to aftercare of brushes, rollers and tools.

NHS Oldham CCG

NHS Oldham Clinical Commissioning Group commissioned Lilac Media to produce a series of films as part of their 'Wrapping Care Around You' initiative.

The people filmed had long term health problems and were keen to give an insight into the way they cope with their condition and how the health and social care services they currently access are working for them.

The resulting films feature 5 case studies of a broad spectrum of patients, each telling their own story.

Home Depot

Harris required a series of films to promote their range of brushes in Canadian Home Depot stores.

The demonstration films were shot in a location studio set-up in the Harris 'Lab' and featured both English and French Canadian voiceover versions.

Icon Brush

Harris commissioned Lilac Media to produce a series of commercials illustrating their range of products to be targeted at product buyers.

Five commercials were filmed, featuring a mix of male and female presenters, within a 1 day location shoot with additional demonstration footage being shot in a studio set-up within the Harris 'lab'.

The Harris Icon Brush Buyers Commercial features a male presenter.

Dioralyte Commercial

Lilac Media produced a family of commercials for Dioralyte, the number one re-hydration therapy produced by Sanofi Aventis.

The commercials targeted international travellers and families, showing that Dioralyte is suitable for both adults and children over 3 months.

The advertising campaign was shown on national TV and on-line.

QGate Training Graphic Idents

QGate provides software for business including CRM and Business Intelligence solutions.

Lilac Media was commissioned to produce graphic idents for a series of product training videos for use on QGate's website and for YouTube.

Unique intro and outro sequences were created for each software product finishing on a graphic build of the QGate logo, all to an in-house composed soundtrack.

Harris required a series of videos to promote their range of decorating products on-line for both their website and for YouTube.

Using a presenter to demonstrate the various product ranges, videos were produced showcasing Harris's paint brush range as well as other products such as paint pads and rollers.

AposTherapy Conversion

Presented by Doctor Chris Steele MBE, a GP and ITV doctor for over 25 years, the film explains why osteoarthritis causes so much pain and introduces the AposTherapy treatment by following a case study of an actual patient.

Hydrate Right with Oralyte

The commercial was shot at various locations throughout the North West with both summer and winter campaign versions being produced.

Fairtrade in Colombia

Lilac Media was commissioned to carry out the post-production for a series of fairtrade films and interactive DVD's for Co-operative Food, including editing, graphic design, DVD design and programming.

Fairtrade in Colombia covers the farming and production of coffee but also looks at how being fairtrade certified has benefited the farmers and producers by improving their lives and helping them achieve a fair price for their produce.

Distilled Spirits Conference 2011

Briggs, a major supplier of process engineering equipment to the brewing industry, was a major sponsor of the 2011 Distilled Spirits Conference and required a background teaser video loop which was to be shown during the conference dinner.

Supplied with still images and archive footage, Lilac Media created a looping film using creative graphics to bring the images and footage to life.

Sharing the Vision

Riverside provides social housing and tenant services throughout the UK.

Working together with their marketing and internal communications team, Lilac Media has produced drama documentaries, conference modules and a series of films to showcase the many aspects of the organisation for its internal staff.

'Sharing the Vision' uses both staff and tenants to tell their own stories, with each magazine featuring a series of short films showing the diversity of work, services and achievements of Riverside, the aim of which is to both inform and inspire staff of the work they, and their colleagues do within the organisation.

The Basics

Manchester Airport

Lilac Media was commissioned to produce a film about customer service at Manchester Airport for both it's staff and service providers.

'The Basics' featured vox pop interviews with passengers intercut with graphic stings showing facts and statistics about the airport.

The aim of the film was to show staff how the airport needs to constantly improve its facilities and customer service.

An Extraordinary Life

Samuel Johnson Birthplace

The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum, Lichfield, commissioned Lilac Media to produce a new introductory film to provide visitors with a biographical overview of Johnson's life.

The drama was based on James Boswell's account of Johnson's life, and was complimented with quotations from Samuel Johnson.

Working with over 16 actors, including 5 children, a full costume drama was created telling the story from Johnson's childhood, through his days at Oxford and London, until his death in 1784.

The film was punctuated with short motion graphic stings which placed each period of Johnson's life into historical prospective.

Lilac Media was commissioned to film and produce a series of instructional videos featuring and using Crown's products for use on their website and for placing on You Tube.

The videos where shot on location featuring a presenter who offers tips and demonstrates various aspects of decorating your home. A total of 16 short demonstration videos were produced covering aspects such as colour selection, planning, preparation, brush selection, painting using a roller, painting a door, to using some of Crown's more specialised paints.
